The folks behind Belgard Kitchen and Vancouver Urban Winery have just announced a new company name and brand, Vancouver Urban. The long-standing company first launched in 2011 as Vancouver Urban Winery and expanded with cider and beer production as well as its popular restaurant Belgard Kitchen.
“We’ve been fortunate to not only produce our own amazing beverages, but also to work with so many talented friends in the industry, and we look forward to continuing those relationships under Vancouver Urban,” said the company's brand director Ksenia Dempster in this week's announcement.
Outside of creating their own lines of wines, beer and cider, the collective will continue to offer contract drink production opportunities for emerging brands looking to start or grow their businesses. Past brands it has helped launch include Shaketown Brewing, Windfall Cider, and Kits Beach Beer.
Vancouver Urban is located at 55 Dunlevy Ave. in Railtown. More information about the collective and its new brand identity can be found on its website.
