Winnipeg's Tyler Del Pino has long been creating music in the city, performing live regularly around town (in addition to touring the country) as well as programming the NASHVILLE MB songwriters' rounds that take place monthly at Kilter Brewing. With songs that blur the lines between Rock-Pop, Americana, and East Coast folk-rock, Del Pino has a penchant for songwriting with starry-eyed narratives and a sound that's all his own.
His brand-new single "Wolf In The Hen House" is a rock-pop anthem that calls out individuals who choose to exploite others for their own personal gain.
“We live in a world where it feels like there’s always another story about some asshole making someone else’s life harder than it needs to be,” Tyler Del Pino explains. “I have never understood why it’s so challenging for people to be kind towards one another, so I was trying to depict the worst kind of character I could imagine and hopefully people listening want to be the opposite.”

Yet, the anticipation is well worth it, as the reasonably priced dishes consistently deliver an explosion of flavors.

Myer's Delicatessen is a delightful find on Grant Street in Winnipeg, taking you back to the classic 60s sandwich shop era with its nostalgic Coca-Cola-themed decor.

When I'm in a hurry during lunchtime, I always after something tasty and convenient, and Myer's Delicatessen never disappoints. Every time I'm in the area, I can't help but wonder if I can squeeze in a visit for one of their mouthwatering smoked meat sandwiches. It's definitely a winner in my book!

Merchant Kitchen is worth a shout-out when it comes to finding a great dinner spot in downtown Winnipeg. This fusion restaurant takes flavours and techniques from as they put it “a whopping 21 cities and 14 countries”, resulting in a menu that's packed with surprises.
What I love about this place is its prime location, perfect for grabbing a bite before an event. The prices won't break the bank, and every dish brings something special to the table. One of their signature dishes is KFC (Korean Fried Chicken), and it's a real showstopper with two unique sauces that give it an authentic twist.
