If the mercury is hitting the top of the thermometer where you are, then you'll be glad that it's National Ice Tea Day. This recipe from Mamie Taylor's bourbon and peach is a classic combination that will make this cocktail sing.
1 ½ oz. Bourbon
1/4 oz. peach nectar
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
3 oz. iced Tetley black tea
Combine ingredients in a shaker over ice and shake.
Strain into a Collins glass filled with ice.
Garnish with a grapefruit slice.
Sit on a patio and enjoy.
