St. Patrick's Day celebrations are looking a lot different this year (yet again), but that doesn't mean you can't mix up a drink and cheers with friends virtually from the comfort of your own home. Heck, if it's nice out where you live, you could even have some pals over in the backyard.

While artificially coloured beer may be considered a signature drink on March 17, this year we're opting for something a little more refreshing and much more natural. The simple cocktail recipe calls for cold-pressed apple and spinach juice along with vodka or gin, lime and a touch of elderflower liqueur and offers an end result that is pleasantly bright and boozy.

This might be the first time you've had spinach in a cocktail, but after one sip, it likely won't be your last.

Green martini

3 ounces cold-pressed apple spinach juice
1 1/2 ounces good quality vodka or London dry gin
1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
1/4 ounce St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
soda water, optional
lime wheel, for garnish

Add Apple Spinach Cold Pressed Juice, vodka or gin, elderflower liqueur and lime juice to a cocktail shaker.

Fill with ice, cover, shake well and strain into a martini glass.

If desired, add a splash of soda to top up before garnishing with lime wheel.

Enjoy!
