The new year is now in full swing and we couldn’t be more excited for a fresh crop of amazing guests, interesting conversations, and fun times had by all. 

On this week’s episode of Variety Pack, co-hosts Mairlyn Smith, Dan Clapson, and panelist Carmen Cheng will kick things off by discussing some current foods news as well as their favourite winter comfort foods before our guests begin to arrive. 

First up, Calgary-born actor, comedian, and avid supporter of all things local, Andrew Phung will join the fray to fill us in on how he’s been spending his time throughout the pandemic and what we can expect from the brand new season of Kim's Convenience, which premieres on January 19, 2021 on CBC.

Country singer Drew Gregory will also pop by for a live performance of his latest track, “Beer With Anyone”, before closing out the show with a chat about what he expects for the upcoming year in music.
