It's hard to believe that our Facebook Live talk show (of sorts), Variety Pack, has been going strong for nearly five months now. Time flies when you've having deep and intriguing conversations and we hope you're looking forward to this week's episode as much as we are.
Co-hosts Mairlyn Smith and Dan Clapson are joined by panelist Deepi Harish to chat about current events and restaurant dining campaigns before our guests arrive.
First up, Darragh McFeely, director of operations for Vancouver's Nuba will talk about their efforts to raise money for disaster relief in Lebanon and if other food and drink businesses have stepped up in support of relief initiatives for the crisis. Next, Mairlyn will chat with Calgary-based LGBTQ2+ writer and influencer Ryan Massel about his second annual LOVED campaign and how he is aiming to raise funds for a variety of community causes during the tail-end of Pride season.
Singer Alex Hughes will wrap up the show with a fun chat with Dan, followed by an acoustic performance of her new single "Gentleman", which officially releases on Friday, Aug. 15.
Variety Pack airs weekly on Thursdays at 12 p.m. MDT / 2 p.m. ET on Facebook Live.
