As the snow continues to melt away in Calgary, it's time to sight one's sights on eats and drinks that invoke feelings of warmer weather. Feeling perfectly in this vein are the boozy slushies at Ol' Beatiful Brewing Co. in Inglewood.
While the popular brewery is most well-known for its beers, it's offered a lineup of cocktails for the past two years or so. It always has a couple "adult" slushies on the go and its latest offering, Summer Slush, looks like sunshine.
Made with a mix of pineapple juice, lime juice, giner and rum, a sip of Ol' Beautiful's Summer Slush may even transport you somewhere tropical...if only for a moment. The Instagram post announcing the new cocktail suggests topping it off with the Dark Arts Pineapple Sour to make it a one-of-a-kind iceberg beer cocktail.
Ol' Beautiful Brewing Co. is located at 1103 12 Street S.E. and open Mondays 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Tuesdays to Sundays from 11 a.m. to late.
