With her latest cookbook being released on April 25, author Karen Anderson is also gearing up to celebrate with a fun event at Calgary's famed The Cookbook Co. Cooks the following day.
Happening Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 6:30 p.m., tickets for the launch party are $50 and include a copy of Eat Alberta First, a glass of wine and a selection of small bites created with recipes from the book. Folks interested in attending can call The Cookbook Co. Cooks directly (403-265-6066) to reserve tickets.
Eat Alberta First is the Alberta Food Tours owner's love letter to the province. It features 90 recipes that celebrates an array of Alberta's chefs, producers and artisans while also offering plenty of tips for preserving, bread-making and more.
"The book is designed to help the home cook build reliance on their skills and on the province’s food producers," said Anderson in the announcement for her cookbook launch event.
