After a hiatus from 2020 to late 2021, A1 Café's lower-level cocktail bar The Tea House reopened prior to the holiday season. Now, it is forging ahead with an array of unique recurring events where Calgarians can enjoy some captivating entertainment in addition to fun the bar's well-made cocktails and creative dishes.

Here's what they've got going on this spring.

Tea House Comedy (Thursday nights weekly, doors at 6 p.m.)

Beginning February 3, Tea House will resume its weekly comedy nights featuring an ever-changing lineup of local and visiting comedians. The bar says to expect theme nights, roasts, musical comedy, improv nights, and more throughout 2022. Tickets are $11.55 and available on the Tea House website.

Spill The Tea Sundays! (Sunday Feb. 13, doors at 6 p.m.)

Hosted by local LGBTQ2IA events host Kylee Roman, this evening drag show will feature some of Alberta’s top talent including Dayna Hart. Tickets are $15.75 and can be purchased online.
