Blueberry Green Zinger Smoothie

A cleansing and delicious smoothie to balance out all the eggs and breakfast sausages.

Skip the eggs Benny for once (we know, it's hard) and have something healthy and energising for breakfast.

* You can buy pre-cooked beets, or cook your own by wrapping in foil and roasting in a medium oven for 90 minutes.

2 cups spinach
5 stalks kale, roughly chopped
1 cup cooked beets, roughly chopped
2 1/2 cups B.C. blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup lemon juice
3 tbsp honey
1 1/2 cup green tea, brewed and cooled
1/2 cup water
2 tsp fresh ginger

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.
