After making a huge splash in the Toronto food and beverage scene when it first opened in 2018 and being forced to close for pandemic-related reasons, Momofuku Group restaurant Kōjin announced this week that it will officially reopen its doors to diners Thursday.
Fans of the popular University Avenue eatery can look forward to revisiting a selection of Kōjin’s previous hits, including corn flatbreads and wood-fired steaks, along with a range of locally-inspired dishes from newly-promoted chef de cuisine Eric Seto, who’s been with the Momofuku Group for more than five years.
“I’m excited to re-introduce Kōjin to Toronto with some popular dishes from the past as well as new dishes,” says Seto. “This is not my menu alone. It’s a culmination of everything I have learned at Momofuku Toronto over the years and the incredible chefs that have worked here, but with a bit of a different approach.”
Kōjin is slated to reopen on Thursday, March 17. Reservations can be made online.
