After months of anticipation, following extensive renovations that have transformed the popular space into a warm and welcoming garden-inspired oasis, Vancouver’s Black + Blue will reopen its iconic rooftop patio on Thursday. Designed by award-winning firm MONARC Interiors, the new indoor-outdoor patio space will feature a contemporary West Coast aesthetic along with notes of warm cedar millwork, soft grey wood-plank flooring, and an abundance of verdant greenery with integrated lighting.
“The Roof has been a long-time favourite destination for open-air dining in Vancouver, and this fresh, contemporary design concept will serve as an enchanting backdrop for guests to enjoy our new menu offerings,” says Emad Yacoub, CEO of Glowbal Restaurant Group.
In addition to The Roof’s brand new look, the Black + Blue culinary team will also be unveiling a fresh menu that aims to highlight an array of West Coast grill fare–prime meats, skewered fish, seafood, poultry, and more–cooked over coals in what they say is Canada’s first-of-its-kind Josper Grill.
The Roof will be open daily for lunch and dinner beginning March 18. Reservations can be made online.
