After taking a break in 2020 for obvious reasons, Whistler’s famed Cornucopia festival is back for the fall, and now it is right around the corner. While tickets to its long list of food-and-drink-centric events are selling quickly (like usual), there are still plenty of delicious ways to enjoy the 25th annual culinary festival from November 4 to 28.
From on-stage demos from acclaimed local chefs to multi-course dinners at some of the area’s top eateries, to local and international wine tastings, and much more, here are some of the interesting ways to enjoy Cornucopia Whistler 2021.
Food and drink seminars
More than 50 unique seminars will be held throughout the month-long festival showcasing a wide variety of local and international wines, bubbles, and spirits, along with a few food-based seminars sprinkled in between.

Signature Tastings
Signature Tastings are a great way to get the best of both the food and beverage worlds. Some of the standout Signature Tastings include the BC House Party featuring an array of B.C. wines and buffet-style fare from a selection of local chefs, the Regional Tasting featuring winemakers from five Okanagan wineries, and the American Thanksgiving Tasting featuring an assortment of traditional Thanksgiving food and drinks.
The full list of Signature Tastings can be found here.
Culinary Stage
This year’s Cornucopia festival will feature a number of new Culinary Stage events where participants will have an opportunity to watch acclaimed chefs in action as they prepare a range of culinary offerings before getting a chance to taste the finished products.
Some of the Culinary Stage events taking place include Lobster, Braised Short Rib and Beer, Pickle n’ Preserve, Fridge Miracles: Making Something Out Of Nothing, and The Bones of Meat and Drink Pairing with Oyama Sausage Co.

Restaurant and bar events
The most popular restaurant and bar dinners of Whistler Cornucopia sold out almost immediately, but there are still plenty of interesting third party events to check out. Many of which are currently available to attend on different dates throughout November.
From multi-course menus and wine pairings at Legs Diamond, Bearfoot Bistro, and Fairmont Chateau Whistler or outdoor axe throwing with classic campfire snacks, and a cool cultural collaboration between Four Seasons Whistler, Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre and Fort Berens, there's still much to eat, drink and discover.
