This cocktail is a nod to Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne, the first woman premiere of Ontario who is a strong advocate for gay and lesbian rights. The drink is an ode to friends of Civil Liberties at the Shameful Tiki in Toronto.
2 oz. vodka
1/2 oz. Cointreau
1 oz. clarified lime juice
1/2 oz. peach pit orgeat syrup
1 sprig mint, for garnish
1 slice lime, for garnish
Shake all ingredients, except garnishes, together with ice. Strain and pour into a coupe glass.
Garnish with mint and lime.
