When you think of a raspberry, you probably picture the red and sweet berry that’s the flavour behind many candies and desserts. But, there is a lesser-known raspberry variety named the golden raspberry. Also known as a yellow raspberry, these honey yellow berries are naturally mutated from red raspberries.
Because they’re much less common, they are usually only found at farmer's markets and specialty food stores and rarely out-of-season. Compared to their red counterparts, they also tend to be sweeter and milder in flavour.
