After making the rounds at various festivals over the past few years and impressing beer aficionados enough to merit tap residencies at a number of popular food and beverage establishments across Alberta, Rocky View Brewing Company officially opened the doors to its first brick and mortar taproom this week in Cochrane, AB.
The taproom boasts 12 rotational taps that currently feature the brewery’s original six lineup of craft beers, its new limited “Adventure Series”, and a revolving charity tap dedicated to supporting local organizations, along with occasional features from other craft breweries across Alberta.
In addition to some cool artwork from Calgary Chalk Artists’ Rozzie Lee as well as eye-catching designs by Integrated Sustainability and Woolrich Group, the interior of the taproom is also equipped with a fully fitted kitchen helmed by local purveyor Nia’s Gourmet, who has developed a predominantly Italian-themed menu featuring a selection of tapas, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and desserts.
The Rocky View Brewing Company taproom is open Sundays through Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
