Last week, Park Hyatt Toronto opened the doors to its highly anticipated new cocktail bar concept following an extensive multi-year restoration project to the historic Yorkville hotel.
The famed former 18th floor lounge was featured in a 1988 Margaret Atwood novel and has long served as a go-to destination for multiple Canadian literary legends over the years. Now located on the 17th floor of the luxury hotel, Writers Room aims to pay homage to that history while providing patrons with a modern cocktail bar experience.
In addition to its sleek design and striking scenic views of the Toronto skyline, Writers Room offers a creative selection of spirit-forward cocktails, elevated share plates like lamb tartare and Newfoundland snow crab tartlet, and decadent desserts such as bourbon Mandarin gelee and chocolate macarons.
Writers Room is open Sundays through Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to midnight and Thursdays through Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
