A new product from Aleafia Health Inc.–the organization behind Canada’s first large-scale legal outdoor cannabis cultivation facility–officially launched in Ontario and Alberta today. They are expected to be the first in an ongoing line of cannabis-infused products released via its new subsidiary company, Bogart’s Kitchen.
Created in the kitchens of Aleafia’s product innovation centre in Ontario, Bogart Kitchen’s inaugural release features two soft chew candies, Strawberry Lemonade and Peach Mango, each infused with 5 milligrams of THC.
Aleafia Health says the initial two flavours were specifically designed to compliment each product’s terpene profiles. Both soft chews feature natural flavours and colouring, are pectin-based, and contain no gelatin (i.e. they are vegan).
“Bogart’s Kitchen is a highly differentiated brand tailored exclusively to edibles consumers, and its first product, soft chews, is the largest edibles category in Canada,” said Aleafia Health CEO Geoffrey Benic. “We look forward to additional product launches under the Bogart’s Kitchen banner, including some new innovative formats not yet available in the Canadian market.”
Bogart’s Kitchen soft chews are currently available to purchase through Aleafia Health’s Toronto-based AssureHome medical cannabis delivery service and at various retail cannabis shops in Ontario and Alberta. Delivery service is expected to become available in Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver in the near future.
