Fresh off a successful series of pop-ups during the Calgary Stampede, the team behind Halifax’s premier plant-based butchery Real Fake Meats is now back home on the East Coast, and while that alone is reason enough for excitement, chef Lauren Marshall and crew aren’t the only ones making a highly anticipated return.
Today, Real Fake Meats announced that its wildly popular Nashville Hot Chickn’ Sandwich is officially back for a limited time. For those unacquainted with the deliciously comforting plant-based offering, the Nashville Hot Chickn’ Sandwich features an organic crispy fried tofu seitan patty that is seasoned with Real Fake Meats’ secret spices and dipped in a spicy butter, then topped with house made slaw and sweet pickles and served on a toasted bun.
Real Fake Meats will be serving the Nashville Hot Chickn’ Sandwich for two weeks only, so we recommend heading down to the Halifax butchery before they’re gone for the season. Orders can be placed online and in-person at Real Fake Meats.
