Earls and Joey Restaurants now offering grocery services

These two restaurant chains have expanded their offerings to include grocery staples, meal kits, and more

Over the past week, two of Canada’s largest restaurant chains have launched grocery programs to provide Canadians with easier access to staple food items and home essentials.

Both Earls Grocery and Joey Market will now offer curbside pick-up and delivery through SkipTheDishes and DoorDash, respectively. In addition to restaurant quality produce, baked goods, and pantry items, both restaurants will also provide curated meal kits and essential household items like toilet paper and hand soap.

Earls is offering a 20 per cent pick-up promotion on all food and beverage items, with an additional 10 per cent discount for all health care workers and first responders. At Joey, patrons will receive a 20 per cent discount on food item pick-ups and a 10 per cent discount on all delivery. Both restaurants currently have their entire wine selections available at a 50 per cent discount.

Joey Restaurants has also teamed up with the B.C. Girl Guides of Canada who, because of social distancing guidelines, were left with more than 800,000 boxes of unsold cookies. Both chocolate and vanilla options are available to order, with all proceeds going directly to the Girl Guides.
