One of the best parts about living in Canada is that holiday eats aren’t necessarily bound to any particular kind of cuisine, but since we’ve already shared a few of our favourite non-traditional Thanksgiving offerings, we’ve decided to go with a North American classic today.
The Pacific Culinary Institute of Culinary Arts' Blue Hat Bakery and Cafe is offering up a traditional turkey dinner for two featuring a wide assortment of traditional Thanksgiving dishes and sides, including apple and thyme-brined turkey breast, buttermilk mashed potatoes, herb and cranberry stuffing, cinnamon baby carrots, pumpkin and apple pie with creme anglaise, and loads more.
Blue Hat Bakery and Cafe’s Thanksgiving takeout dinner is priced at $109. Orders must be placed before October 5 with pickup available on October 8 and 9. Aspiring bakers will also get a chance to partake in a Thanksgiving-themed pie and tart baking class led by chef Cristian Lai Chun on October 1.
