The fourth season of Family Feud Canada is premiering on CBC on Septemberr 12, and to get the new season started with a bang, the game show announced today that some familiar faces will be facing off on the first two episodes to raise money for charity.
The first episode on September 12 will pit The Great Canadian Baking Show hosts Alan Shane Lewis and Ann Pornel, judge Kyla Kennaley, and GCBS alumni Raufikat Oyawoye-Salami and Colin Asuncion (playing for Water First) against Heartland cast members Amber Marshall, Michelle Morgan, Chris Potter, Michelle Nolden, and Drew Davis (playing for the Wild Horses of Alberta Society).
As much as we love Amber Marshall and Heartland, it will be hard to root against the highly charismatic GCBS crew.
The second episode on September 13 will feature current Dragons’ Den Dragons Arlene Dickinson, Manjit Minhas, Michele Romanow, and Robert Herjavec, and former Dragon Jim Treliving (playing for the Calgary Food Bank) going up against Strays cast members Nicole Power, Tina Jung, Nikki Duval, Kevin Vidal, and Dennis Andres (playing for the Toronto Humane Society).
We have to admit that we haven’t delved too deeply into the world of Strays, so because of the great work Dickinson does for Canadian food and beverage businesses, we’ll be siding with the Dragons on this one.
Family Feud Canada will air Mondays through Thursdays on CBC and CBC Gem at 7:30 p.m. ET.
