After a forced cancellation to last year’s festival due to the pandemic, Calgary’s Dandy Brewing Company announced this week that its annual DandyFest will return for 2021.
In addition to showcasing craft libations from more than 20 breweries, cideries, and distilleries from across North America, this year’s three-day festival will also include a four-course beer pairing dinner from Dandy chef Merritt Gordon, a cask party featuring a variety of Calgary-based breweries, live musical performances, and much more.
“Some of the best elements of craft beer is the community and sharing the experience with friends!” says Dandy co-founder Ben Leon. “Having spent the last 20 months doing virtual events, we’re so excited to bring an event back where so many of our brewery pals will be there, pouring really cool beers and sharing them with the craft beer loving public!”
Following the festival’s multi-course dinner on August 23 and the cask party on August 24, the festival’s main event on August 25 will feature two three-hour sessions, during which guests will have a chance to sample an array of beers, ciders, spirits, and treats in a scaled back and socially distanced environment.
Tickets for DandyFest 2021 will be available to purchase online on August 17 at noon (MDT).
