Next week, the Fairmont Palliser will debut its new springtime pop-up, the Tipsy Parrot Rum Shack. Open March 1 to April 30, the seasonal rum bar is hoping to give both locals and hotel guests plenty of sunny vibes with a fun tropical decor, fresh and fruity cocktails and plenty of small plates to share with friends.

There isn't a ton of menu details available as of yet, but a representative of the hotel says that the food menu will include beef or veggie patties with coconut jerk dip, jerk cauliflower bites with rum pineapple hot sauce, prawn ceviche with plantain chips, mini pineapple upside-down cakes and more.

Tipsy Parrot Rum Shack is located on the boulevard level of Fairmont Palliser next to Starbucks. It will officially open on March 1 and then operate weekly Tuesdays to Saturdays from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. until April 30.
